The TCR5AM 500mA CMOS ultra-low dropout voltage regulator is a CMOS single output regulator with an on/off control input. It has an ultra-low dropout voltage, low inrush current and fast load transient response. It is capable of driving currents of up to 500mA. Other features include over-current protection, over-temperature protection, under-voltage lockout and an automatic discharge function.
The TCR5AM series is available in an ultra-compact plastic moulded package DFNB5 (1.2x1.2x0.38mm). The devices are ideal for portable applications requiring high density board assembly, such as cellular phones.
