TCAN1042HVDR Product Description 
The TCAN1042HVDR is an automotive-grade, high-speed CAN transceiver that complies with the ISO 11898-2 (2016) standard. It acts as an interface between the microcontroller CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. Its core strengths include high immunity to interference, wide operating voltage range, and robust fault protection features.The TCAN1042HVDR supports data rates up to 5 Mbps, ensuring stable, high-speed data communication in complex electromagnetic environments. It is designed to comply with the AEC-Q100 standard to meet the stringent temperature and reliability requirements of automotive electronics.

Wide Common-Mode Voltage Range and High Withstand Voltage: 
The bus pins have a high ±58V withstand voltage capability (compliant with ISO 16750-2 impulse test), which can effectively withstand transient voltage shocks such as load dumping and battery reversal, which are common in automotive power systems.
