Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd. a leading global supplier of electronic components, has recently announced a large-scale acquisition of Intel Agilex® series FPGA products, including multiple sub-series such as Agilex™ 3/5/7, as well as the SoC FPGA product line.

Overview of Acquired Product Series

Mingjiada Electronics' acquisition covers the entire series of Intel Agilex® FPGA products, providing customers with a complete range of solutions from entry-level to flagship-level.

Agilex™ 3 Series: As the entry-level product in the Agilex family, the Agilex 3 series is optimised for cost-sensitive applications while retaining the core advantages of the Agilex architecture. This series is particularly suitable for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), edge computing, and consumer electronics applications that require low power consumption, moderate logic density, and basic interface functionality.

Agilex™ 5 Series: Positioned for the mid-range market, the Agilex 5 series achieves an excellent balance between performance and cost. The Agilex 5 series introduces dedicated acceleration modules such as AI Tensor Block, supports PCIe 4.0 and DDR4 memory interfaces, and is an ideal choice for 5G wireless infrastructure, professional audio-visual equipment, and automotive electronics.

Agilex™ 7 Series: The flagship FPGA product, manufactured using Intel's 10nm SuperFin process technology, offers transceiver rates of up to 58 Gbps, advanced DSP blocks, and high-performance encryption blocks. The Agilex 7 series is further divided into three sub-series:

F series: Basic high-performance series, offering up to 58 Gbps transceiver rates and supporting multiple precision fixed-point and floating-point operations

I series: Expanded from the F series, offering up to 116 Gbps transceiver rates and supporting PCIe 5.0 and Compute Express Link (CXL)

M Series: Utilises Intel's 7nm process technology, supports packaging high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and DDR5 SDRAM memory interfaces, specifically designed for compute- and memory-intensive applications

SoC FPGA: Integrates a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor option, seamlessly combining the hardware programmability of an FPGA with the software flexibility of a processor, ideal for applications requiring complex system-level integration.
