When the ten-thousand-level equipment in smart factories respond in milliseconds and agricultural sensors can last for ten years under the scorching sun, high-performance wireless MCUS are becoming the "invisible veins" of the Internet of Things. The NXP Semiconductors (NXP) MCX W series redefines the boundaries of wireless connectivity with multi-protocol integration, industrial-grade enhancements from -40 ° C to 125 ° C, and the EdgeLock® security engine. Shenzhen Mingjiada Electronics Co., Ltd. provides one-stop wireless solutions from "chips to cloud" for the fields of Industry 4.0, smart home and new energy through direct supply channels from the original factory and a million-level inventory reserve.
Product Overview
The MCX W series is a secure wireless MCU, designed to provide a more compact, scalable and innovative design for the next generation of intelligent and securely connected devices. The MCX W series is based on Arm® Cortex®-M33 and offers a range of unified, pin-compatible multi-protocol wireless MCUS that support communication protocols such as Matter™, Thread®, Low Energy Bluetooth, and Zigbee®. MCX W is committed to creating interoperable and innovative smart home devices, building automation sensors and control systems, as well as smart energy products. The MCX W series is equipped with MCUXpresso Developer Experience support.
Main features
Single MCU platform
MCX W introduces wireless technology into the MCX microcontroller series by providing an MCU platform with a common core, architecture, intelligent peripherals and developer experience, all of which are supported by the FRDM platform.
Internet of Things Security
As part of the Edgelock® Assurance program, the MCX W series integrates NXP's Edgelock Secure Zone kernel profile and also supports NXP's Edgelock 2GO key and certificate management services.
Powerful wireless performance
The MCX W series features an upgradable dedicated wireless subsystem that supports Matter, Thread, Zigbee and low-power Bluetooth.

MCX W71 series
The MCX W71x series can serve as a single-chip solution or as a coprocessor in a managed architecture, supporting industrial and Internet of Things devices. NXP offers a complete software solution that enables the MCX W71x to operate seamlessly as a network or wireless coprocessor with NXP's extensive portfolio of MCX MCUS, i.MX RT crossover MCUS, and i.MX application processors.
MCX W72 series
The MCX W72x series features Bluetooth channel detection and a dedicated on-chip positioning computing engine, which can reduce ranging latency. It integrates additional memory to support specific application code, connection protocol stacks and wireless firmware updates. In addition, this wireless subsystem can run the complete Thread or Zigbee protocol stack while running the BLE protocol stack. Because the real-time activities of the wireless module run on a different core from the application, reliable wireless performance can be provided.
