Overview
The RAA2100404GLG power module is a compact, synchronously step-down, non-isolated complete power supply that can provide a continuous current of up to 4A. By operating on a single 2.7V to 5.5V input power rail and integrating a controller, gate driver, power inductor and MOSFET, the RAA2100404GLG is optimized for space-constrained applications.
The RAA2100404GLG is based on a peak current mode control scheme, providing fast transient response and excellent loop stability. The output voltage can be set as low as 0.6V, and the set point accuracy is better than 1.5% within the range of lines, loads and temperatures. The default operating frequency is set to 2MHz. However, it can also be set between 500kHz and 4MHz through an external resistor. External synchronization supports external clock signals up to 4MHz. The RAA2100404GLG supports 100% duty cycle to minimize switching losses and allows for a voltage drop of less than 200mV. The dedicated enable pins and the power good mark make it easy to sort the system power rail.
The RAA2100404GLG features a series of protection functions, including input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent protection (OCP), output over-voltage protection (OVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP), ensuring safe operation under abnormal operating conditions.
