Introduction to LAN8810 Chip
The LAN8810-AKZE is a low-power 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet physical layer (PHY) transceiver with variable I/O voltage and fully complies with IEEE 802.3 and 802.3AB standards.
The LAN8810-AKZE can be configured to communicate with Ethernet MAC via the standard MII (IEEE 802.3u) /GMII (IEEE 802.3z) interface. It features a full-duplex transceiver that can operate at 1000 Mbps on four-pair Category 5 or better balanced twisted-pair cables. According to the IEEE 802.3-2005 standard, all digital interface pins can withstand 3.6V.
The LAN8810-AKZE can also be configured through hardware and software, and supports register functions that comply with the IEEE 802.3-2005 standard and vware-specific via SMI. The LAN8810-AKZE enables automatic negotiation to automatically determine the optimal speed and dual working mode. HP Auto-MDIX support allows the use of direct connection or cross cables.
